fatigue<\/li><li>Issues with and access to facilities<\/li><li>Carrying materials<\/li><li>Functional difficulties with:<\/li><li>writing or typing<\/li><li>writing or typing speed<\/li><li>accessing written resources<\/li><li>reading standard sized print<\/li><li>use of IT such as PCs and laptops<\/li><li>mastering technical equipment<\/li><li>Note-taking may be impacted<\/li><li>Participating in practical activities and tests<\/li><li>Answering or asking questions \u2013 it may, for example, take extra time for a student to formulate questions or answers.<\/li><li>Absences \u2013 students may need to attend medical appointments<\/li><li>Student confidence may have been impacted by past experiences or feelings of separateness in the learning environment<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, as always, the expert in these situations is the person themselves so discuss with them how they may best be supported.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item facilities<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Negotiating areas with inflexible lighting<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Issues with accessing printed materials<\/li><li>Difficulty in accessing the internet and electronic devices<\/li><li>Finding, organising, transcribing and reading materials (reading speed may be slower than their peers, even when transcribed)<\/li><li>Participating in practical activities such as lab work, tests and fieldwork<\/li><li>Functional difficulties such as:<ul><li>Note-taking<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Reduced writing or typing speed<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Difficulty reading standard sized
